Sonar Scanner is stuck in infinite loop on one java file after upgrading

Hi all,

Sonar Scanner is stuck in infinite loop on one java file.

We are facing this issue since last SonarQube upgrade from Version 5.4 to Version 5.6.6.

Is there a way to find which rule might be causing this and how to handle it?

Hi, could you try to upgrade to latest version 4.10 ? 

And would you be able to share the log of analysis as well as the file causing the trouble ?

SonarJava was updated to 4.10 but the scanner still stuck in loop on the same file..
could you please take a look on the log on source file I've sent you?

I found the root cause in one of our new custom rules.
the issue is resolved.
