SoarABQ at the OG F3L Contest

I just had a look at some of the data from the contest last weekend.  You can see the daata on F3X Vault.

Dave Roberts finished the best: 6th overall, with a strong finish including two 970+ point rounds on the last day.

Dan Roberts started slow, but got better in every round until the end.

John Ihlein started Saturday with 1000 points, ended Saturday with another 1K, and finished the contest with 990+.  If he figures out how to fly in the wind, he will be a killer.

Kirby started slow, but went up with every round.

In his first contest EVER, Gregg (3G!) did NOT repeat NOT finish last.  Nor one up from last.  And at one point, was 9th overall.

I think our hosts will be coming to Moriarty this June, looking for a good fight.

I need to mention one other data point: 3G also scored a 1000 point round, in his first contest EVER.

Got some ideas for the wind. 

#1 - Need more elevator authority 

#2 - Need to adjust the decalage lower and adjust CG accordingly 

#3 - Practice in the wind
