This part I was worried about---mating the aileron to the wing body. My plan of attack was to first glue all hinges to their respective control surface. I did this four-hinges at a time using 15-minute epoxy, all the while checking for straight alignment to the hinge line. The number of hinges used were: four for the flap and seven for the aileron. Since the flap had only four hinges, mating it to the wing body was fairly straight forward. 15-minute epoxy gave ample working time.

However, the aileron with its seven hinges posed a potential problem. 15-minute epoxy wouldn't do when gluing seven hinges all at once. With all hinges already glued and aligned to the aileron, I was able test fit it to the wing body and make proper adjustment to each hinge point where necessary. I decided 30-minute epoxy would provide the working time I needed to mate the aileron to the wing. It was a good call. I was able to apply epoxy to each hinge point on the wing with care, not feeling I had to rush. Starting at one end, I carefully slipped each hinge into its corresponding hinge point on the wing. The 30-minute epoxy actually had a working time closer to 40 minutes. I used tape to help hold the aileron in place securely. At one point I applied pressure with my hands. I did this for 50 minutes. After 90 minutes I removed the tape and... voila, left wing done!

It may flip, but it won't flutter.
