2023 Club meeting dates

Good Evening, Everyone,

I wanted to send out the club meeting dates for Jan-May. There are some changes to dates I sent in an email in December—there were some conflicts I had forgotten to include (namely, Moot Court tournaments). By way of reminder, now that we are in full tournament season, much of our club meeting time will be coaching and reviewing ballots from tournaments, though we will have some time for additional instruction. Typically we have not met on Mondays that follow a tournament that is far away nor do we typically meet on the Monday of a tournament week. We will have some additional coaching time, however, that will meet at other locations and Zoom coaching is another good possibility if there is a desire and we are not meeting at Bethany.

Speech/Apologetics—1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 4/17, 5/1

Debate—1/16, 1/30--LD only, 2/13, 3/13, 4/24

End-of-year party: 5/15 or 5/22—TBD

And did we settle that the 15th though busy for you was the best for the end of year party? I’ve been planning that. I am helping my sister in law with my nephews that weekend in Sturbridge. I will probably be back Monday the 22nd but would still prefer the 15th. Keep it regionals weekend and hopefully a high?
