Has anyone tried using LSD-SLAM? https://github.com/tum-vision/lsd_slam It looks like it could be used to SLAM the grabber arm w.r.t. the fridge.

If anyone has gotten it working w/ Kinetic / catkin do you have the steps you used. I keep getting various errors.

Thoughts?

If you have good DR and positional information on the arm, there are easier ways to work out the kinematics to work with the fridge.
