Morning Smuggers!

I keep receiving emails from EA. (“Reply to EA” –– E...@e.ea.com). There is usually no Subject, and never an “Unsubscribe”. Except today it is telling me that someone attempted to sign into my EA Account from the WEB. Does anyone know what EA is?

EA dot com is the website of Electronic Arts (an internet search shows). They make computer games in California. But the extra ‘e’ after the @ symbol means it could be something malicious and the unwary who presume it is <ea dot com> might not notice the extra e…….I wouldn’t respond or click on a link etc. Better safe than sorry…..
Nick

Sounds like a phishing email, it’s easy to fake a reply address. I’d mark as junk and delete.
