Morning all,

Back in the mists of time I used to have network drive connected on the same network as my Mac. It was called “Stora”. I’ve moved house (twice I think) and changed Macs at least once, but still my current Mac Mini randomly throws up a warning dialogue box that it, “can’t connect to Stora”. I tried a couple of times to find something in the current Mac’s preferences and setup routines that obviously remembers Stora so that I can do something to tell it that Stora no longer exists. But I cant find anything. Any ideas anybody?

Some places to check would be :

  • System Preferences > Users & Groups > Your user > Login Items
  • Finder window > Left Sidebar > Favourites > any folders or icons pointing to any file which used to be on the Stora drive
  • Finder window > top toolbar > same thing with icons
  • Dock > right-side of the divider line > same thing with icons
