Google Chrome Problems?

appreciate this tip, Tony. I've seen the behaviour it described and been mystified by it a few times so I've done the purge now and will see if it helps!

I note that Google have taken up the issue. Probably going to release a new version of Chrome that uses a different update mechanism. Not certain that the install of the new version will remove all the bits that cause problems. We will see soon enough.
