Help with Wix website

I've been connected for a few years but only infrequently contributed to the group forum. 

I've been comfortable designing for print for many years and I'm now retiring - gradually - and unwisely took on to create a website for a friend and I'm struggling with domain name transfer issues, email hosting etc. Inevitably the helpline list of faqs don't quite answer my 'naive' questions and I'm not able to finalise and publish it. 

If anyone is familiar with Wix or other template sites I'd appreciate help and happy to discuss a fee. I'm based in Crowborough.
