Incoming email disappears

Morning Smuggers,

Two or three times a day I see an email from The Telegraph coming in (small message at top right of screen), but there is never any sign of it in any of my Mail boxes.

I don’t really care about The Telegraph (nor have I requested anything of them), but I am curious to know what happens to those emails. Where do they go?

I would be interested to read any suggestions.

The same keeps happening to me, I've found that Gmail, bless it, decides that your Inbox isn't the place to put certain emails so it picks one of your email folders it thinks fits the bill of that email and puts it in there. I now have to also look in my various Folders to check for new emails. You can start adding labels to emails which helps.

It could be that you’ve set up a filter on Mail or on gmail.com to automatically sort or delete the email. That’s usually the case.
