Afternoon everyone

We're absolutely love our HomePod and now wondering about the benefits of two, to get stereo sound.

Rather than a second HomePod, is there a cheaper way of achieving stereo sound with an alternative speaker? (I know with AirPlay 2 and HomeKit you can have multiple brands on same network, but I'm interested in stereo setup in same room).

Anybody successfully tried it?

Thanks

Adam

Stereo requires a close frequency and time response pair match between the left and right speakers Adam, so no, I’m afraid you won’t get decent results from two different speakers.

Regards
Phil

Thanks, Phil

I 'feared' as much.

Will keep scouring eBay and Gumtree for a Homepod.

The sound is wonderful and for us, Siri works just fine for what we need - but the thought of that quality (ok, so no it's not vinyl!) but in stereo has got us keen to consider it!

Thanks again
