Hello everyone

We have an old MacBook running OS X 10.7.5

What’s the best way to decommission it as it is no longer upgradeable or updatable?

Thank you.

I’d freegle it, someone might want it. You could take the hard drive out, or boot into internet recovery and wipe/reinstall

Right, sorted.

So free very old white slightly foxed MacBook free to a smugger local to brighton, wiped and OS X 10.7.5 ready to be set up by new owner.

If no takers in next few days we will dispose of it differently.
