Help setting up a new iMac please?

Hello SMUGgers, (and perhaps especially Sam!?)

My elderly parents have just got a new iMac (2021) as the previous one was really struggling with the basics (2005 approx, so it did well!)

They're in Eastbourne but I can't get down to help until 11th, and Dad's keen to be up and running pronto.

He requires someone to:

- Transfer data from old to new (mainly Photos, but some Docs too) and so would need to bring suitable dongle OR simply via Cloud. They do have 50GB iCloud and I think one could upload and sync and make ancient WD TimeMachine redundant now.

- Someone patient and able to work through things as dad sometimes in a pickle with all the questions, passwords etc. (who doesn't!) I'm a phone call away, and once new iMac is on, ScreenShare.app will be great!

Not sure if Sam still does home setup in EB, or if any other reputable people can be recommended to visit before 11th! Dad's said BT offer a setup service called Halo but I doubt they'll do what we need really.
