Good morning Smuggers,

I have an iPhone X which used to be charged using a wireless charger which has been lost. I’ve reverted to connecting my phone into my MacBook Pro to charge it. Every time I plug it in I get a prompt asking me if I should ‘trust this computer?’ I then have to press on the yes button and enter my password to access the phone.

Is there a way I can stop it asking me every time I plug it in?

The MBPro is a Mid 2013 model running Catalina. The iPhone is running iOS 13.5.

Regards
Philippe

I've seen this with non-Apple cables or connecting via a USB hub. Do either of those apply? (I had this for a while but it seems to have gone away...i think I changed the USB connector I plugged into which may not be much of an option on a MBPro)

cheers,
Jason

Thanks Jason,

I’m using an Anker cable. I thought it was MFI. I’ll get an Apple one.

regards
Philippe
