Hello everyone

I seem to recall that in previous versions of Apple Pages, the grey space around the blank page was something of a scrap book, eg. you could store text and images there to drag in to place on the page as you wanted.

Now, if you drag them off the page, they're 'there' but ghosted behind the grey space.

I see nothing in the Preferences. Am I missing something?

It was such a handy feature, and I'm sure I'm not imagining it!?

Thanks and Happy Christmas!

Adam

Did you ever have Publish-It! On the Mac back in the 80s? That had exactly that feature and I’d always hoped it would be in Pages but I don’t think it ever has been, not even the original blue ink pot version. But then I’m a bit old now and don’t remember everything as well 😆.
