Sidecar isn't appearing as an option

Hello everyone

I'm keen to get Sidecar working between my MBPro and iPad Mini, but it won't!

I meet all the system requirements and have followed the Apple.com articles to get it working, but the iPad simply doesn't appear as an option to send the screen to (whilst my external display appears so the functionality is there per se).

Any top tips or experiences to jolt it to life please?

Hi Adam,

Mine used to connect, but won’t now.

Checking requirements I note that you must be using the same Apple ID using two-factor authorisation, I haven’t got around using the latter requirement yet, which is probably why mine doesn’t work at moment.

Might this be your problem.

Thanks, Paul. I have 2FA set up on both (I think!) So all should be working and that shouldn't be it, but will check.

After various efforts and t'other forums, I hate to say it but a simple shutdown and reboot of both devices.... 'eh voila!

Why oh why will I never learn and try that first!?
