Hi. My Mailboxes has developed a second box labelled Spam - so I have 2 lots to look at and delete now. Does anyone know if I can combine the two? I can’t imagine why a second one appeared - but it really isn ’t needed!

Is that in Apple Mail? You can go into Mail menu > Preferences > Accounts > select the account > Mailbox Behaviours > choose the mailbox called Spam for Mail’s spam also. It’s easier if both Mail and the server are using the same mailbox for Spam.

Hi Sam.

Yes, it is apple Mail. I have 3 accounts in Mail, and none of them seem to have a Spam mailbox in Accounts > mailbox behaviour. They DO have junk …

Can I just delete one of the spam mailboxes - or is that not recommended?

I suspect it is because I use SpamSieve - and it has for some reason made a 2cnd folder / mailbox?
