2024 SMGA membership renewals - $46

Hello SMGA members (current and former),

It is time to renew your SMGA membership. The renewal period will run from now through December 31, 2023. If you are a current member, you may continue to renew your membership as long as you are a member in good standing. New members are also welcome to join now.

New for 2024, the NCGA is charging Associate Clubs $46 per member regardless of renewing or joining new in 2024. The SMGA Officers have decided to pass-through to its members the NCGA rate without any additional club dues. Many of our remote and non-playing members continue to maintain their SMGA membership solely for the purpose of maintaining a playing handicap (GHIN).

With our limited resources (both officers and active members), we will strive to offer a limited tournament schedule for 2024.

If you decide not to renew your SMGA membership for 2024, please reply to this email and let me know. For those belonging to multiple golf clubs, please take advantage of the NCGA Multi-Member Rebate offered each summer.

Please send a copy of this email with your check made out to SMGA in the amount of $46.00 to:

If paying by PayPal, please follow the PayPal instructions below:

1) Sign into your established PayPal account: https://www.paypal.com/
2) Click on the "Pay or send money" icon and the "Send money to friends or family" link.
3) Enter TO address: smga04fr...@comcast.net
4a) Type in Amount (= Number of Memberships x $ rate from above): $xxx
4b) In the "Add a note" section, please indicate "SMGA 2024 Membership"
4c) Click the "Send Money Now" button to complete the transaction.

5) If using the Classic interface, select the "I'm sending money to family and friends" button and select "Continue" to finish the transaction.
6) In the "Email to recipient" section:
a) Type in the Subject: SMGA 2024 membership.
b) Enter Message: Member name(s), and other notes such as an address change.
7) Click Send Money – you will receive an email confirmation.

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD: In addition to these instructions, if you are paying with a credit card through PayPal, look for a selection to send money to a friend/family, and make sure the box saying you will pay the fee is selected. This keeps us from charging two different rates, and you don't pay a fee on the PayPal fee.
