I am very pleased to invite you to The Thomas Kukucka Memorial Lecture organized by the Slovak Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh on April 10th, 2022.
Our guest speaker, Prof. M. Mark Stolarik from the University of Ottawa will present a lecture on how “Slovaks Abroad Helped their Catholic Brethren in the Homeland in the 20th Century”, which is a chapter of a book that he recently wrote for the Collegium Carolinum in Munich. It deals largely with American Slovaks, and how they helped their countrymen in Europe.
This will be a hybrid event. RSVP is required for in-person and virtual participation. Use the link or QR code on the attached flyer to register.
