Awesome tool! I'm an educator and this has saved a lot of time. Thank you so much for your hard work.

I'm using Chrome on Windows (Version 119.0.6045.160 (Official Build) (64-bit)).

I'm using the Default Animation with the short cut Alt + A. I've selected the "Animate Paragraph" button. When I use this in Slides, the drop down for the animations is "clicked" and in the way. The Animate Paragraph button is not checked. I've reinstalled, closed Chrome instances and refreshed tabs. No change.

Is there a way around this?

Many thanks,

Malte

Hi Malte,

Sorry for missing this! And thanks for the detailed info.

So if I'm understanding correctly, the dropdown that lists the animation type is clicked but the type of animation isn't selected correctly (or doesn't disappear), and therefore the "By paragraph" button doesn't get selected?

I'm not entirely sure why this might happen. The extension works by simulating clicks on specific elements on the screen, so perhaps I need to add a "delay" that users can adjust, so that it waits for a short while before clicking each individual thing. Not entirely sure. There are some very browser specific things that happen to people (so for two people with Chrome on Windows, one could see an issue, and the other may not, making it hard to understand the root cause).

I'll try and release a version that has a delay value, plus with some extra debugging tools so that I can help better.

Warm regards,
Sriram
