I made the removal of the + from caller ID to five.voicepulse.com and the created an option in configurations to add or remove it. Seems like a nice option.

Thanks! That did it! I was thinking of something totally different and didn't think it would be that easy. Making it part of documentation or even a FAQ would help tremendously- I googled extensively before asking and wasn't able to figure it out.
I also have a support request in to Flowroute per Todd Hodgen's suggestion and will update with their reply.

I think you can literally do it just like he said. Create a new dial plan, "custom" type, and just put in exactly what he said. I've attached a screenshot. Someone should probably put this on the wiki as I think it was asked about a month ago. Not sure if we need special permission to do that now though...
