SIP trunk with IP Authentication only

Hello,

I know that various questions have been asked about this but I am trying to establish a sip trunk based on IP authentication and not a user name password registration.  I configured an unmanaged gateway but I am not sure that's the right option.  Selecting SIP trunk from the gateway drop down list setups for a registration approach.  I know there is an option for registration on initialization in the ITSP section.  Would deselecting that allow for IP authentication instead of registration?

Yes, if you use the built in SBC just create a new SIP trunk under Gateways, deselect Register on Initialization and leave user ID and password empty under ITSP Account.
