Hi,

Does anyone know how to configure a Voip Innovations trunk.

They have a separate IP for incoming and another for Outgoing.

Incoming is: xxx.xxx.xxx.31 which points to 5080 via sipxbridge

Do I have to configure a dialplan?

and also i have a separate sip trunk xxx.xxx.xxx.30 for outgoing

How do i configure this?

It is all via IP authentication no user name and or password

thanks in advance

I think I'd probably setup two different gateways.  One for incoming, one for outgoing.

Or look for another provider. That's just weird.

Sip trunk for at least the inbound one (5080).

Probably sip trunk for outbound too.

Add to who else, depends what you want to spend and how critical sip trunking is to you. If it is tall critical, get a sbc and go to a top tier provider.

If you are just messing around, use voip.ms

VOIP.MS or Five.Voicepulse.com is another good one I’ve started using.

We are using voip-innovations.  We have setup as two outbound sip-trunk gateways to 64.136.174.30 and 64.136.174.35 for redundancy with attached dial plan, and one inbound sip-trunk gateway to 64.136.173.31 with no dial plan.  If you setup up un-managed gateways it will work, but you will not be able to do transfer calls as voip-innovations (and most other ITSPs) do not support SIP Refer.   The problem with using sip-trunks is the scalability of the built in SBC, so for larger installations you will need an external SBC.

When you log into your VI account look under "Endpoints"

They have to be configured as a gateway and then added as a gateway to
each dial plan you want to use them with.

I prefer that IP auth over registration.

We have been using VI for one account for a couple of years now and are
pleased with their service. They do have T.38 support. I would choose
them if you need t.38 or voip.ms if you do not.
