Formatted Polycom - how to set up the provisioning server manually

Hello - I got a Polycom 670 that has been formatted, and, apparently you need to set the provisioning server manually. It does not automatically pick up the settings from sipxecs, any longer. 

In the setup, where you set the provisioning server (iirc Settings => Advanced => Admin Settings => Network Configuration => Provisioning Server), there's a few settings to enter: 

* Server type - set to FTP and I assume that's right? 

* IP address - I assume this is just the IP of the sipxecs, but, do we need to set a port too? 

* Server user - PlcmSpip is what's in there by default, but what should the user and password be, here? An admin user extension or superadmin? 

* Server password - ****

Anybody deal with this before, and can you please comment?

Hello Rick,

Can you check if the dhcp is enabled on the sipxecs (System > Servers > Core Services)? By default the phone is configured to look for the DHCP option to obtain the IP address of host name of the (T)FTP server.

If I manually set the provisioning server on polycom phones, I only just update the IP address in  Settings => Advanced => Admin Settings => Network Configuration => Provisioning Server
