Dear MRST users,

I am a new user of the MRST simulator. I have already imported an Eclipse case and successfully run it as a history match. At the end of the simulation, I saved the state with the intention of using it for forecasting.

My issue is that when I try to add a new well using MRST functions, the simulation crashes

Is there any workflow to follow in order to update the states{end} of the history matching and the schedule to avoid crashing when adding new wells in forecast.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

I think you may have to remove the wellSol from the state when using it for a model with different wells. Something like this should work:
state0 = rmfield(states{end}, 'wellSol')

Best regards,
Olav
