Getting Exhibit 3 to work locally

I can run Exhibit 3 using the links from David Karger's site, but have failed dismally to run locally.

So far, have cloned Ex 3 from GIThub but cannot get it to run with the exhibit-api.js and time and map extensions in the cloned version. 

Help greatly appreciated!

Github has the source code. You must build it before Look at
https://github.com/simile-widgets/exhibit/wiki/Installation Or you
can get a built exhibit version.

Thanks Luis,

You seem to suggest it's not enough just to copy the files from GITHub onto my site.  I read the instructions, but not clear how to follow.  In any case, all I want is the 'scripted' version.

Where can I get a 'built' version?

I you copy the repo files, you must use "exhibit-api.js?bundle=false"
because the bundle file isn't in the repo.

If you can't build from source (you must use ant), you can download
the files from http://api.simile-widgets.org/exhibit/HEAD/
