The RC posted the following in our Discord channel:
"With three unsuccessful all calls going out for a DC for the domain I will need to move to have the domain closed.
Unless someone is willing and able to step into into the DC role, if only temporarily to make sure that reports are filed."

Hi Walter,
So for my job as DST, all I do is make a copy of a particular google doc once a month (change the date on the report, list games that happened, etc), and then "share" it with the RST account. I believe the DC job would be similar for the near future. I'm avoiding doing it because I think having another person do it would be good for everyone to make sure things don't fall through the cracks. Fairly low effort, but critical that the email report does make it in each month.
As we get closer to restarting live games, there will be work to arrange a game site, potentially coordinate on recruiting, watch over the minor domain funds, and make sure people are vaguely tolerable to each other (hopefully that won't be a big issue, but conflicts arise once in a while). So, you would have to be an active member of the MES again (I see you expired in October, 2018) and who still lives in Maryland, DC, or northern Virginia. After that, you can either contact the RC directly <ec...@ec.modernenigmasociety.org> about being the interim DC, or ask me to start up that email chain with you on CC if you are feeling bashful. If you were interested in being DC long term, they would run an election, and you would apply according to the instructions.
