Data file not available in the app

Hi,

I'm just starting my adventure with Shiny. I prepared a primitive app to provides two charts derived from publicly-available Scottish Census data. The app is working fine and when I attempt to publish it the RStudio is suggesting the right files but when I attempt to access the app, I get this error message:

ERROR: object 'oasdta' not found
Naturally, the oasdta is my RDS file that for some reason is not available in the app folder.

I would check to see how you are referencing the loading of that data file and make sure that you have either: "data/oasdta.rds" or "./data/oasdta.rds" as the path in your application.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. My path seems to be correct, I'm loading data like that:

oasdta <- readRDS(file = "./data/oasdta.rds")

I'm also experiencing a similar problem, in which the rds file does not seem to load.

Whoops, never mind, I just realized I needed the table in the ui as well but didn't add a line to load it there.  I've added the load line in both server and ui file and now it works.
