DataTable filter issue

Hi all, 

I am having a issue with a very basic app.  The app is simply a datatable.  

The app address is: http://cmohan3.shinyapps.io/ECLminer

When I try to use the search box in the 'Customer.name.1' column I get an error.  see attached pic.   

The error reads:  

DataTables warning: table id = DataTables_Table_0 - Ajax error.

Looking at my logs I see this:

2015-01-19T17:14:47.199023+00:00 shinyapps[shuttle]: Listening on http://0.0.0.0:37172
2015-01-19T17:15:05.195954+00:00 shinyapps[shuttle]: Error in tolower(x) : invalid multibyte string 771

Any ideas what might be going on?

The issue was with part of my data not being utf-8 encoded.  

That is a key difference between what is running on your local machine and shinyapps.io.  shinyapps.io only supports utf-8 encoded content today.
