Retrieving source code of app deployed to shinyapps.io

After deploying an app to shinyapps.io, I feel like there should be a way to retrieve/download the source code or at least see what version is currently deployed. Because right now after deployment you just lose the source and I can never know how different the deployed version is from my local/git version, if at all.  Are there any plans to support this in any way?

Providing a way for folks to retrieve the source code is in our plans but not in the coming 6 weeks or so.  

We hadn't really considered providing the git info (assuming the developer was using git).  I will add that to the options we consider.
