Hi,

Yesterday evening I was able to successfully deploy my app to shiny server. It worked well but today morning I've noticed that the url return Page Not Found error. Is shiny server on? Here's the url: https://williamwallacebrave.shinyapps.io/Shiny-Assignment/

Thanks for help,
Maciej

Maciej,

We were having an issue this morning, which I believe we have fixed. I went ahead and restarted your application. Can you let me know if it's working now?

Thanks
-Andy

I had to redeploy to see things working.  I am not sure whether it will again complain a 404.
What was the problem that you fixed it - why was it not able to locate the URL?

Sunil,

The issue was a bug with ShinyApps that caused an outage yesterday. If your application is working now, it should be fine going forward.

Andy,

My app (https://lincrampton.shinyapps.io/time2retire/) is exhibiting the same 404 behaviour, after having worked nicely for a while.  I re-deployed the app, tried to run it under a different name, I ran shinyApps::terminateApp and then tried everything again.  Nothing works.

Could i have exceeded my resource allocation?  On the Accounts page, it says, "Resources are allocated to accounts. The accounts of which you're a member determine how many applications you can provision and what resources they can consume. In the coming weeks, we will be adding more functionality to this page"  I am at a loss to figure out why an app that ran so nicely for a while absolutely refuses to do anything.

Lin,

When I look at your application code that was uploaded, I see the following directory structure:

39d8882ce51a4c36a3dff5328eb16996
├── index.htm
├── manifest.json
├── shinyRules.R
└── time2retire
    ├── server.r
    └── ui.r

Your server.R and ui.R must be in the root of your directory when you call deployApp().

A more recent experience. Upload was working fine, then it later that day it wasn't, giving this error:

Preparing to deploy application...
Error: HTTP 404
Not Found

I just deleted all the stuff that had recently appeared in the app folder, including an rsconnect folder, and a workspace file that had saved there and something else that wasn't relevant. Now it uploads again with no problems.
