Is it OK to use the new version of R?

I've just upgraded to R 3.3.0, and I'm finding that deployApp() is failing "Unhandled Exception: HTTP 599: Connection closed"

Is it possible that it's a version problem, or should I look elsewhere?

Unfortunately the .deb packages have not yet made it to CRAN, so shinyapps.io has not been able to update yet.

Within 2 hours of them hitting CRAN, we should be good to go.

My apologies for the unhelpful error message, it will be improved in the near future, hopefully before the next R update!
