Hi everyone,
I am developing a Shiny (local) application for a private project. The project is hosted in a private GitHub repo and shared among colleagues and customers.

There is some ways to use runGitHub with a private repo? If not, what about alternatives?

Thank you very much for help.

Nicola

It's not currently possible to use runGitHub with private repos, sorry. You'd have to have your users download the app using some other Git client first. Or maybe you could use a secret gist with runGist, if you don't need the greater security that private repos provide.

Thank you very much for your reply. This confirmed what I thought.

I solved my issue, including Shiny application in an R package. So I will use install_github from devtools to install and run the app.

Thank you,
Nicola
