Big Y - Nell's Rock Road

I received a call from Steve at Big Y. They wish to “unadopt” Nells Rock Road because there is no shoulder or sidewalk. The employee who originally signed them up is no longer there, and the employees say they are not comfortable picking up that road for safety reasons.

Doesn't surprise me actually as the road continues to get more and more heavily traveled and cars driving fast also.  "Steve" was the guy I did speak to about getting out there from Big Y.

Too bad, and guess we should remove the Big Y sign.

The ultimate resolution might be when the new Constitution Blvd finally is extended to Shelton Ave. That will hopefully take a lot of the traffic off of Nells Rock Road.
