Doesn't the City have some kind of vacuum truck they use for the leaves? Can that be multi-purposed for litter?

Also, with all the AI and robotics, wouldn't it be cool to have an army of robots that picked up litter?

True, the robots could start throwing the litter back at the passing cars….

By the way, I’m looking at the KeepPABeautiful.org website and it looks like the organization is completely separate from the state government and is nonprofit. It’s an affiliate of the national Keep America Beautiful organization, and I’ll bet they received some grants for funding from them (Shelton once rec’d a Keep America Beautiful grant to clean up and improve a tiny park downtown). So if we want to do what they’ll done, but on a state level, that would not be via our reps or with legislation.

Keep America Beautiful lists their affiliates online by state. In Connecticut there are four affiliates: Keep Norwalk Beautiful, Keep New Milford Beautiful, Keep Wilton Beautiful, and Knox Parks Foundation. I couldn’t find any info on what is required to be an affiliate, but here’s their webpage about it: https://kab.org/affiliate-network/become-a-kab-affiliate-2/

Thanks for the information.  I did see the Keep America Beautiful organization based in Stamford.  I’ll look into it.
