Did you venture up by Chelan? It looked nice up here today too.

Which glider? There wasn't a posting on the OLC or WeGlide, and OGN didn't show the model of glider.

Conditions in the Richland area seemed very weak, even by 2 pm, so I didn't fly.

I was towing.  Marty Gibbins and Tony Puglisi were trading off and flying their DG300.  They did not get to Chelan, but I think it would have been doable.  Each day, from Friday through Monday was soarable to varying degrees.  But Monday was clearly the best.

Chris dropped me off in a lifty area, so I climbed nearly to cloud base (which was 7200) immediately. I didn't get far because I needed to turn the ship over to my partner, Tony Puglisi by 2 pm. It was still a fun flight.

Kudos for Chris Klix (and Nan) who have earned considerable merit for coming out just to tow and fix plumbing.  Thermal karma and nirvana await in 2024

Changed Subject to “Labor Day”.  Sorry, my mistake in my original post.
