My side pocket is over-stuffed, so I'm looking for a 3 1/8" instrument (or at least the case/bezel for one) I can gut and mount in a unused hole in the panel. That will give me an easy-to-reach place to put some of the stuff that's now in the pocket. If you have one, I'll pay for the cheapest shipping to my home, or bring it to the contest. I might be visiting the contest and could pick it up, or maybe one of the Portland pilots can bring it to Richland on their way home after the contest. Thanks!

Eric,

I could easily 3d print a cubby that mounts in a 3 1/8 instrument hole.

That sounds like a great offer. You might even make it longer for your longer stuff. But be sure you have the room in back of the instrument panel in your aircraft.

It can be as long as 8" when installed, but I'm not sure I could actually work it past the other instruments. I think 6" is practical to install without removing anything else; 4" is the shortest that would be useful.
