I am signed up for this weekend's 2-day lifeguard certification course, and there are still 5-6 spots available. Commuting down from SF if you need a ride.

What better way to spend your weekend than paying to learn CPR amongst a group of moderately motivated high school students! In all seriousness, having a number of folks certified makes gaining entry to new facilities much easier, please consider it if you have the time and resources.

If you want to sign up for this weekend, they said you need to call in ASAP. Next course is scheduled for next month IIUC.
