Lopes Rd Status ? North of Benicia-Martinez Bridge / or i80 Solano Bikeway

Question: Is Lopes Rd open again? It's been a while since I've ridden eastbound that way. Heading from Concord area to the Sierra foothills next weekend so I'm trying to figure out route(s). Not sure about Lopes Rd or the Solano Bikeway paralleling I-80 north of Vallejo?

Lopes Road is still closed—I was there just a few weeks ago. 

I have dealt with the closure many times by riding the short distance on the 680 freeway to the next exit after the closed section  The freeway has a wide, clean shoulder, and I’ve never had a problem. 

Or, as you note, you can take the long way around through American Canyon and Vallejo.

Lopes Road is indeed still closed, but the contract for the landslide repairs was recently advertised, finally.

So if all goes well construction on the repair will hopefully start later this year, for completion sometime in early to mid 2027.
