To reiterate the ride calls from the last 2 weeks:

Style 1 by default. Smooth and cooperative at speed with hard accelerations off lights.

Ride will be cancelled if we don't have 5+ by the night before (I'm counting on sitting wheels and juggling laptops so we need at least 4 people who can lead this thing 😛).

5 is a tall order.quorum has traditionally been 4 (set by our fearless leader and route developer Scrosby)

You make a strong argument. 4 is probably fine but I'm hoping we will be able to wrangle up 5 😀

We had 5 this morning (+1 who solo-ed 8 mins late) for a 4:30am Royale so thats a data point 😛

(as an aside are you really a route developer if your route is "Mission forever"??)

the more the merrier is especially true on a dark and cold royale.

OK, so the development didn't take much beyond a wild idea to ride the kings road. so maybe a better title would be founder? inaugural route ride caller? general instigator? 

FWIW the officially unofficial route name is Royale with Cheese. The general discussion around the naming was quite entertaining. Maybe someone with better google-fu than I can dig it up out of the archive.

yeah I didn't do squat but call a ride some years back. mandate enough to name it I guess! better ideas always welcome of course. "Instigator" is good.

obviously I'm no Magellan like Lider. turns on Bayway: ~96. turns on Royale: 0.

I think all parts of the route + naming are great 🙂 "Royale" has a nice mystique to it (Even if "Royale with Cheese" is slightly less grand).
