Tentative OI for Henry Coe

Mark W. And I are interested in going to Coe on Wednesday, July 15. Transparency is predicted to be excellent. Are any of our TAC buddies free to join us , or is everyone up at GSSP enjoying the clouds and beautiful sunsets?

Thanks for posting this.  I think it looks like the best night locally for the July NM cycle.

If you guys go, you might want to put NGC 3310 (in Ursa Major) on your list. A Type II core-collapse supernova exploded just 4 or 5 days ago and appeared mag 12.8 or so last night in my scope at GSSP. The name is SN 2026sqf and it’s just outside the bright core of the galaxy.

Thanks.  Am I seeing that the galaxy had SN 1991N as well?
