More of a conditions report.

My friend and I arrived at about 5pm and packed up at midnight.  The overflow lot is in use and open to the public.   The weather forecasts were mostly correct.  Thick haze could be seen as the sun set.  Most of the clouds appeared to be high and disperse.  Reference objects like M31 were not impressive. Transparency improved after 10pm.

Wind was almost non existent.  When we left at 12:30 the temperature was in the mid 50s.  The temperature back home was 10 degrees lower.

A fox stole the bag of potato chips.

Both scopes are 15" dobs.  We mostly looked at objects one might observe from a backyard, but even with this poor transparency was better than backyard observing. Some non backyard objects that were observed

NGC-2261, Hubble's Variable Nebula.  If you were looking for something very fan like this is your nebula.

NGC-2298, in Puppis, a barely detectable globular cluster at low power.  But nice to take advantage of the low horizons of Coe.

NGC-2903, it was possible to see some spiral detail in this galaxy.
