Chrome update disabled SB

Updated to Google Chrome 138.0.7204.4 (Official Build) (64-bit) Beta

SB extension disabled .  Checking in Extensions a "Repair" button showing.

Last time a year ago destroyed, deleted the SB database

I haven't clicked the "Repair" button yet.

What's the procedure to save SB, run "Repair", & restore SB if damaged?

Noticed you stated "...backup before you reinstall".  Will the current update need to be reinstalled?

Is 7z "Ad to archive" for the entire PortableApps sub-folder sufficient backup of the Google Chrome Beta to restore that Chrome version?

PortableApps does have a Backup feature; I haven't used it yet.  I have used system level backups but I think I can't have enough backups.
