Two SB extensions in Edge extensions page?

Hi Hans,

please see the attached screen.
It seems there are 2 SB extensions offered in the Microsoft Edge extension page?

Just to know, because I've chosen the one with our blue icon.
I found it weird, the same name.

Neither of these are from me. I've reported them to Microsoft many times but they never responded.

The one with the blue icon (at least) should be taken to the Courts. Their icon is not only misleading but also deceptive! 😠

is there a way we can help with Microsoft to have the fake SB (at least the one with the blue similar icon) removed from their shop?

I appreciate that. You can hit the "Report abuse" button and submit a report. If more people do that I suppose they might listen.

Otherwise I'm not sure what someone could do unless they work for Microsoft.

Are you sure this is not your (our 😊) SB?
If it's a clone, it is very well done.
The blue-icon SB in the 1st screen here is the one you said " Neither of these are from me."

Yes. It's actually easy to copy an extension. It seems they haven't kept up the version though.

Not sure what "Report abuse" translates to but it's the button in the lower-right corner of your 2nd screenshot.

I found a more official/legal way to report infringement and just used this method, so hopefully that will be taken more seriously by MS.

the page https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/session-buddy/hgpnndpninkidjggjjhfadpmipappndb shows an add-on which is NOT the real Session Buddy I've been using for years.
The REAL Session Buddy is here: https://sessionbuddy.com/
The clone in Edge Addons' page shows exactly the same graphic, so by mistake I installed it and went through a lot of problems. (not compatible Backup file).
A nightmare and a fraud!
