Paper reviewing has now started

Hi Task 8 participants,

  We're happy to announce that paper reviewing for SemEval-2022 Task 8 papers has now begun. If you submitted a paper, you should be listed in OpenReview and have 1-2 paper assignments to review. If you haven't already, please take a look at your assignments. The deadline for submitting the reviews is March 21.

  For first time reviewers, EMNLP-2020 provided some good advice on how to write good reviews (and links to other good advice). The SemEval setting is a bit different from EMNLP, but the spirit is the same in writing constructive reviews—write a review that you would want to receive.

  The Task 8 organizers have limited control of OpenReview itself so for questions and concerns, please reach out to the SemEval organizers (semeval-o...@googlegroups.com) who are also handling questions on reviewing itself.

  Thanks again for your participation. We learned so much from your systems papers and were amazed by the technical variety and depth of approaches. We look forward to sharing a draft of the task paper with you in the near future.

Hello as per the instructions mentioned above, our team did submit the paper on time and we're also listed among the OpenReview submission, However, we are not yet assigned any review paper(1-2 mentioned above) so far, can please explain. Thank you

It's possible that you were not assigned (or perhaps only one author was assigned?); since the Task 8 organizers didn't make the assignments (and can't change/add them), I would follow up with the SemEval organizers (semeval-o...@googlegroups.com) to see who, if anyone, on your team is reviewing.

My teammates were assigned the same paper as the one I was assigned to review in the OpenReview system. We all need to write our own reviews or one review on behalf of our team is enough?

Will the Average Rating and Average Confidence be updated soon, as the web page for both fields still shows N/A in our case?

Our paper hasn't been reviewed and the average rating and confidence score is shown to be N/A. Will it be updated? Why wasn't our paper reviewed?

  Paper reviewing has just completed and the SemEval chairs (not us) will release the reviews shortly. From looking at the review status, many reviews are still late, so I would anticipate some delay. Please reach out to the SemEval chairs if you do have concerns still.
