I'm running across the same problem as Alexander from this post: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/native-client-discuss/prQvmcgTL3M

We are looking to test an application that uses a pnacl module, but we are getting the following error:

NativeClient: The Portable Native Client (pnacl) component is not installed.  Please consult chrome://components for more information.

The component list is empty, and --enable-pnacl does not work. Is there a way to have pnacl support in chromedriver?

Thanks,
Alan

I support this change.

I am automating on Chrome and the some changes made to our app require the NaCl module, NaCl cannot load due to "NativeClient: The Portable Native Client (pnacl) component is not installed."

Are there any known workarounds?

Thanks,
Tanner

Going from JF Bastien's response on the thread you referred to it seems this issue has to be fixed at the point of building the Chromedriver executable, rather than there being a user configuration option. So I'd suggest raising it on the relevant developer's issue log (not sure if there is a separate one for Chromedriver rather than Selenium as Chromediver is developed and supported by Google developers themselves, I believe).

Here's the issue on chromedriver's tracker: https://code.google.com/p/chromedriver/issues/detail?id=886

Please star it to help it get prioritized!
