After updating to Kibana 6.8.6 I am unable to get to any data.  Kibana and all services are running on both the Master and Storage nodes.

If I run a simple query in Dev Tools (GET /_cat/indices) I get

"Failed to connect to Console's backend. Please check the Kibana server is up and running"

Any idea how I can fix this.

Have you tried simply rebooting or restarting Kibana?

Thanks,
Wes

Thanks for answering Wes,

This morning everything was working normally and I was able to pull data and do searches.

However, when I tried to change a Setting (Number of Rows) from 10 to 500 I received the error "Unable to update UI setting Failed to fetch".   Now I am back to not being unable to pull any data into Kibana.

I restarted Kibanna, and it did not help.

Any ideas?
