My talented listmates,

We have Dell Enterprise laptops running W11 which will not retain the correct time (OK on date).

I admin unfreeze Deep Freeze, changed the time to Auto Apply the correct time, set ot daylight savings time bit won;t keep that time once you restart the PC.

I've Goolged and chatgpt'd and can't find the exact way you change the time and keep that time in the BIOS on this Dell.

Most vdes od not dipay what we see on this laptop. I can visit Integrated Services (tab) and there I see the hour - minutes but they're all greyed out so you can't change them.

Dell Enterprise looks different in every YT video than what you see in each Dell BIOS in the various videos.

Anyone changed the time in BIOS on a Dell Enterprise ?

Thank you,

Charles.

Can you post a picture of what you do see on the BIOS page? (use your phone/etc)  We can't see what you can see so adding a picture or other context information might be enough that someone would have a suggestion for you.  The BIOS are usually weird interfaces, sometimes you have to use the arrow keys or +/- to make adjustments:

Sounds like this computer might be managed by an IT department, can you reach out to them for in-person support?  (eg. whoever set you up with the laptop initially might have these settings locked/etc if it's an enterprise computer)

Howdy Charles!

Precisely how far off is it?
