No, not the discontinued 25 pins ones, but $0.28 for a 5 pin and  $0.53 for a 10 pin, so $2.68 to do up your new H8 card.  Versus $15 for a pair of Samtec BCS-125-L-S-HE from Mouser (only stock I saw currently).

Here's a vote for Norby to please continue putting both footprints on his designs.

Thanks for the complement. In return send me your address to send you a white guide pin to match the color of the connector o your board (white).

In addition to lower cost, better availability and similarity to to the original Heath design, using multiple Molex connectors is stronger than the original as there are now 6 flanges that reach around and hold the connector flush with the board. The two flanges on the 25-position ones were too easy to break away. Terry S. has also recommended this approach (I think he uses a 10 and a 15 for each position.)

I agree it is best to continue to accommodate either the SamTec or Molex approaches on all our boards… they both have their merits.

I forgot about the 6 flanges for better grip. I just ordered 20-pcs each.

On the H89-Serial-USB board, I added same connectors holes, so either connector can be used.

My strategy was to use a total pin count of 51 and insert a polarizing plug in the center position.  This eliminated the need for a separate spacer block to guarantee proper alignment.  This photograph shows 3x15 + 1x6.

Molex KK (0.1") polarizing pins are P/N 15-04-9209.

But Norberto's 3D-printed spacers are mighty pretty, and faithful to the original design.
