With the new H8-Z5-4 Cassette I/O board and other recent discussions here there seems to be increased interest in the “early days” of the H8. I believe this eBay item:

is the original “Tape OS” documentation for the H8 (plus it includes the H8 operation manual).

 

We have these scanned as PDFs, but if you’re like me it’s nice to have shelf hard copies of frequently referenced material.  This manual set seems to be in pretty good shape from the pictures

 

This seller has a whole bunch of Heath/Zenith computer manuals and doc’s for sale as well…

Thanks for the pointer -- I wound up with the early "Tape OS" manual. He's got an H17 up now. Unfortunately no controller card, and I don't see them come up for sale...
